September is one of our absolute FAVORITE months of the year, and it’s not just because it marks the beginning of the cozy, festive -ber months. There's something truly special about September that makes it stand out—whether it’s the slight crispness in the morning air or the gradual transition from summer’s warmth to autumn’s golden hues. This month holds a particularly dear place in our hearts as it’s also when our Owner and Managing Coordinator tied the knot on September 21st- cue Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic hit (you know the one—hit it!).
As the last whispers of summer’s heat linger through September, we find ourselves drawn to the charm of early morning adventures. One of our favorite ways to embrace the season is by taking a trip to San Diego’s own small-town gem, Julian. Nestled in the mountains, Julian offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and quaint charm, making it the ideal spot to kick off the holiday season. Whether you’re savoring a slice of their famous apple pie or simply enjoying the fresh mountain air, a visit to Julian is the perfect way to welcome September and all the festive months to come.
Nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains east of San Diego, you will find this quaint 1870's Gold Rush town. Julian's long history combined with its famous Apple Pie brings Gilmore Girls' Stars Hallow charm right to San Diego's backyard.
Here are some highlights and activities for you to enjoy during your next visit!
